About Jude

Hi, I'm Jude. I grew up in London, England, then spent the next few decades living and working in various countries as a bank clerk, shop assistant, accounts clerk, IT consultant, marketing manager, actor, singer in a band, personal trainer, English teacher, translator, writer and editor. And that's just the stuff I admit to.

All of which should give you the idea that I have a curious mind (and perhaps itchy feet). I'm always learning new things, looking at the how and the why behind it all. How did wolves become dogs? What's it really like to climb Everest? How did Britain end up in a war with its own American colony? Why don't tennis scores go 1, 2, 3… and why is it even called tennis?
